BOB ENEVOLDSEN QUINTET – NOCTURE NLP 6 – EX TO VG+/EX – 10” LP – MONO

Here’s a rare one for you! Recorded in Hollywood on July 14 & 18, 1954, it features Bob Enevoldsen on vibes, trombone and tenor, Marty Paich on piano, Howard Roberts on guitar, Harry Babasin on bass, Don Heath on drums and Roy Harte on bongos. SIDE A: FAST BUCK; MY OLD FLAME and DANZA DO BRAZIL. SIDE B: LULU’S BACK IN TOWN; BOB WHITE; WHERE DID THE GENTLEMAN GO and SNOOTIE LITTLE CUTIE. This was a short lived West Coast record company, which produces 10 LPs. This is a 10 –inch LP and is recorded in MONO.

I have graded the vinyl as EX TO VG+ and the record jacket as EX for the following reasons. The vinyl surface has a few light marks on it, but they do not interfere with play. I really can’t grade it as EX, but it’s better than the VG+ grade, so I’m stuck in the middle. There is some slight sign of wear in the spindle hole, but no marks around it. The vinyl retains its original luster. The record jacket has one small taped seam in the lower right corner and there is some discoloration due to age.
