These 10 songs were originally issued on the late-'70s LPs Birth of a Legend and Early Music; this puts all of them on one, with the addition of liner notes on The Wailers' early years by Marley biographer Timothy White. Great heart and energy on these harmony-filled early ska stompers and soul ballads, and about half of these tracks are not included on the more comprehensive early Wailers retrospective One Love, making this a recommended addition to the library of both Wailers and general early ska/reggae fans.
