THE WAILERS - CATCH A FIRE ALBUM
ISLAND RECORDS ILPS 9241
This is a nice copy of this now very hard to find original album package by artists Rod Dyer & Bob Weiner, which was limited to 20,000 copies when originally released. Later versions of the album have the alternative cover featuring Bob Marley smoking a spliff. In many surviving copies of the original Zippo cover the top has become detached, on this copy it is still intact and working.
RECORD
Is graded overall as VERY GOOD (VG) condition. The record has obviously been played and there are surface marks, although nothing looks serious. I don't currently have the facilities to play the album, but I don't recall any problems when last played. The labels are in excellent condition with no writing. There are no matrix numbers on the run-off other than the catalogue number which has been hand etched.
SLEEVE
The sleeve (printed by Robor Ltd) is graded as VERY GOOD (VG) condition. There is wear and tear and creasing on the sleeve which has been obviously handled a lot but no major defects and the hinge is in good working order. Someone has attached sticker on the bottom right hand corner of the rear of the sleeve. Please see attached pictures which reflect condition.
ISLAND INNER SLEEVE
The original Island inner with "i" logo and "27 Peters Square London W6 9nw" in pink is still present. It has been folded on the corners to fit in the outer sleeve.
The record will be sent securely packaged with a polythene lined inner sleeve and outer plastic sleeve included.
