For sale here is a VERY rare LP. the DEBUT album released on 13 APRIL 1973 (especially in this condition) by THE WAILERS called " CATCH A FIRE " and is an ORIGINAL 1973 UK STEREO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press PINK RIMMED ISLAND label. THIS LP IS MEGA RARE AND VERY DIFFICULT TO LOCATE. THIS IS EASILY THE WAILERS RAREST LP's EVER, AND NEVER EVER TURNS UP FOR SALE (not in this condition!!)... TRY AND GET HOLD OF ANOTHER ONE!..NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTLEY STUNNING!! CONDITION...(have a look at my photo's) THIS IS THE ORIGINAL UK 1973 STEREO 1st PRESSING ON THE 1st PRESS PINK RIMMED ISLAND LABEL. 1st PRESS A-3U / B-4U MATRIXES, AND 1st PRESS LIMITED EDITION "ZIPPO LIGHTER" SLEEVE MADE BY ROBOR ...THIS LP IS MEGA RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE RECORD...this is the ORIGINAL PINK RIMMED ISLAND UK 1st pressing from 1973 and is in ABSOLUTLEY STUNNING!! condition!..The record is pressed on a slab of THICK black quality vinyl. The Cat no. is ILPS 9241 on the 1st press PINK RIMMED ISLAND label...(have a look at my photo's) and is a UK STEREO 1st Pressing..

Labels are the sensational pink rimmed ISLAND format in as near as mint condition!!.With the ISLAND logo below the spindle hole on both labels to confirm that this is the very first issue of this magnificent rarity. Has absolutley NO spindle lines whatsoever!!, to indicate that the record has possibly never been played at all!! With NO damage of any kind.NO graffiti , NO rips, NO tears, and NO sticker marks whatsoever!!! and would therefore grade as mint condition!!

Vinyl

Thickly pressed heavy weight vinyl pressing with jet black mirrior like surfaces That have that just pressed look!!. A magnificent vintage classic . Against a strong halogen light and angled at 45 degrees, There are NO surface marks,NO scratches or blemishes at all!! NO tiny faint wispy lines are visible whatsoever!!.A stunning visual and impossible to locate in this condition!!!.Would therefore grade as mint!!

 

Sleeve

First issue Robor limited edition Zippo Lighter sleeve is Showing virtually no signs of storage wear at all!!!. The sleeve has NO rips, NO tears, NO graffitti or stickers whatsoever and is a pleasure to view.The sleeve is in excellent+++ /-mint condition!!! and a Fantastic collectors item. The Spine is perfectly straight and the hinge is complete and in full working order!!!. This is a fine example of this sensational ISLAND classic.(under closer inspection there is a minute scratch to the top right hand corner at the front..see pictures)
