Description
ORIGINAL ZIPPO LIGHTER COVER, PINK RIM ISLAND LABELS, FIRST MATRIX WITH CROSSED OUT NUMBERS ON THE RUNOFF. ONE OF BOB MARLEY’S RAREST ALBUMS WITH THIS ICONIC SLEEVE DESIGN – VERY RARE AND HARD TO FIND STILL INTACT.
I have owned this album from new so I know its history. Overall the sleeve is nice with no tearing, writing or creases. It does have some edge wear, and there is wear around the rivet hinge area but all intact and still works fine. Also there is some scuffing to the edge of right side of the inner part of the cover where the printed album graphic appears- about 25mm x18mm. Generally though the cover print condition is really good. The vinyl is excellent with only a few light visible marks, there doesn’t appear to be any scratches. I know that that from the 70’s this album has been virtually unplayed, and mostly in the first year or two of ownership ‘concrete jungle’ and ‘stir it up’ were the only tracks regularly played. Island labels are both in great condition. Original shaped black inner sleeve has one or two creases with slight tear to right corner – where it joins die-cut shape.
Much sought after monster reggae rarity – HAPPY BIDDING
Note: THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS ITEM HAS BEEN LISTED BECAUSE PREVIOUS BUYERS HAVE NOT BEING REGISTERED AND I HAVE BEEN INFORMED BY EBAY THAT THESE "BUYERS" WERE POSSIBLY FRAUDULENT.
This record hasn't been played for years and, consequently, all references to condition are by visual grading only. THIS IS FROM MY OWN PERSONAL COLLECTION, I AM NOT A RECORD DEALER. I have done my best describe this album .
HOWEVER IF WINNING BIDDER IS NOT HAPPY WITH THE RECORDS DESCRIPTION, I WILL RESOLVE OR REFUND MINUS RETURN POSTAGE.
N.B. POSTAGE TO OVERSEAS COUNTRIES WILL BE HIGHER BUT CHARGED AT COST PRICE.
