Description

BOB STARR -- Stop This Energy Crisis -- ex. rare, original late 1970's (??) U.S. album.  Jawdropping and highly sought-after private press Blues-Funk-Soul LP w/ a deranged outsider music vibe and topical/political lyrics on tracks like "We've Got To Have Some Rent Control," "The Space Girl," "I'm A Gasaholic" and more.  Must be heard to be believed.  Note that there are apparently two different cover variations for this album (the other has similar artwork w/ photos of Bob Starr on front & back).  A very difficult record to find -- only rarely comes up for sale.  Cover:  VG+/VG++, light ring wear and wear at corners, light stain/shadow residue from old price sticker at upper right front, price sticker on front.  Record:  VG+++, very light surface wear, overall excellent, on Blue Power private press label, U.S. pressing.  To hear a short sound clip, click on the link below.
