ROBERT CALLENDAR - "Le Musee De L'Impressionnisme". (philips 6318 043; stereo; 1975; *Netherlands/Holland issue/pressing). GREAT unknown LP. There is NO CD of this LP and NO reissue. Callendar's third LP, his concept is a tribute to Impressionism. All songs about the history and the artists: Monet, Renoir, Degas, Morisot, Van Gogh, Gauguin, Toulouse-Lautrec, Bazille. Music is Great funky mid-70s style psychedelic soul, with a couple perfect dance floor tracks. Soulful haunting vocals, with an exotic mystical vibe.
