BOBBY SOXX “LEARN TO HATE IN THE 80’S” REISSUE 7” SINGLE, from 2001 on KAPLOW RECORDS, in a LTD. pressing on BLACK VINYL and long OOP!! Killer reissue of the notorious LEARN TO HATE /SCAVENGER OF DEATH 7” from the late, and legendary, BOBBY SOXX!! A beautiful repro job of this TEENAGE QUEERS ripper that came out in green and orange covers, and included an insert with a cool photo of Bobby on one side and a newspaper article from the DALLAS OBSERVER on the other detailing the sad and sordid life of this TX legend who left us too early. Dunno if they used the original masters for this reissue, but I suspect they may have, as it sounds FUCKING GREAT!! Two tracks of pure, misanthropic, punk rock, nihilistic genius!! Along with the HUNS “GLAD HE’S DEAD” and AK-47’s “BADGE MEANS YOU SUCK”, this has to be one of the best singles to come outta the Lone Star State!! A total fucking punk rock rarity not to be missed!! Bid! Win!! KILLED BY TEXAS!!
