Artist: BOHSE ONKELZ  Title: DER NETTE MANN Label: ROCK-O-RAMA RECORDS Number: RRR 40 Fidelity: STEREO Sleeve: PAPER Vinyl Condition:  NEAR MINT CONDITION Jacket Condition: EDGE WEAR CORNER WEAR, SLIGHT  RING WEAR Label Condition: GOOD  Notes: ORIGINAL 1984 GERMAN PRESSING ORIGINAL GROUP POSTER WITH ROCK-O-RAMA RECORDS PICTURED ON THE REVERSE SIDE The independent music dealer Herbert Egoldt contacted the Böhse Onkelz in 1984. His record shop Rock’O’Rama and eponymous mail order distribution was considered to be extremely well versed in the music scene. The focus of Egoldt’s business in 1984 was quite obviously punk and new wave. Egoldt and the Onkelz agreed on a simple artist exclusive contract for 3 studio albums, which conceded lifetime utilization rights to Herbert Egoldt. The Böhse Onkelz debut album “Der nette Mann” was produced in only a few days in the MTV Studio in Frankfurt. Laslo Viragh was the producer, and this first vinyl had an initial circulation of 4,000 copies.

Contrary to later claims, the controversial songs “Türken raus” (Turks Out) and “Deutschland den Deutschen” (Germany for Germans) did not appear on this record. Moreover, after an initial payout of 4,000 German marks, the Böhse Onkelz never received any further payments from Egoldt.

I do not grade records as I feel is a matter of ones own interpretation. I will note any imperfections from visual inspection to the best of my ability.

The vinyl is clean no scuffs or scratches. I can not capture imperfections on vinyl, but there are none. The labels are in excellent condition....the smallest of mark on the "B" side. The poster measures 12" x 24". The edges are crisp. There is some marks on the reverse side under "BOHSE ONKELZ" & on the open edge, but does not go through, and the group shot poster is clean.
