Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

STUNNING CONDITION THE VINYL IS SUPERB

This pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

We could see only a couple of tiny feint lines of spindle skate, and no wear to the centre hole..Barely a hint of any static or crackle in the grooves, it sounds stunning!

There are  a only very few light whispy lines, a couple of tiny feint hairlines visible under extreme light, and with a professional 'hoover' clean we feel this Lp will be like new! It is easily the best example we have seen for a very long time.

and no marks or wear - nothing that penetrates or sounds on the vinyl..YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER. ITS A BEAUTY!

Correct MATT WIDE spine Gatefold  sleeve  -by 'GOTHIC PRESS'. First edition sleeve - Later sleeves were the typical THINNER glossier late 70s/80s design - this is straight out the box from 1978

Kept in a poly protector from new , we had to cut it off as it was perishing,  it confirms just how well this sleeve and its colours have been archived since 1978- IT IS PRETTY MUCH PERFECT AS NEW.

 This is in simply incredible condition. It is nigh on imposible to find this sleeve without white rub and ring wear. Here we have a superb  sleeve to go with the amazing vinyl.

No powdery white marks,  no rub, wear or scuff

The spine is superb and all titles are totally legible, perfect

The open edge remains in sharp condition 100% perfect

one tiny light crease by the spine front hardly worth mentioning.

The open out of the gatefold is simply superb, no dulling, white rub or wear at all.

WE CLARIFY BY SAYING, THIS SLEEVE IS SIMPLY OUTSTANDING 'MUSEUM' QUALITY.
