Description
THE
BONZO DOG DOO-DAH BAND
1966 UK PARLOPHONE DEMO. R 5430. VG+ (PLAYS EXCELLENT THROUGHOUT). Here is a very rare original uk Demo copy of the superb eccentric debut jazzy-psych 45 by brilliantly named 'Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band'. This is the bands first and rarest uk 45, stock copies very rarely surface for sale, but this earliest red/white 66 Demo issue is super tough to find in nice condition. The pictures are of the actual 45 for sale. Please check out my other items!
CONDITION = VG+ (PLAYS SUPERB)
The 45 is visually in VG+ condition, both sides have plenty of original sheen but with a few very light small scuffs, and a few very light top surface marks and some ultra-fine hairlines, there are no nasty surface marks or scratches so there are no loud clicks/pops and no annoying loud background crackle, both tracks play and sound really excellent throughout with barely even a trace of surface noise. The red/white Demo labels are in excellent clean condition with just a few light spindle traces per side. The original Parlophone records paper sleeve is in very good condition, there is some light creasing/ageing but no rips or seem splits. This is a very nice super-rare Demo copy that plays excellently and will not disappoint.
If you collect rare Mod, Psych and Freakbeat 45's and the stranger and more obscure beat and Pop-Sike releases from the mid to late 1960's, then this very rare original 1966 Demo issue of the 'Bonzo's' excellent strange debut 45 would make a really great addition to any serious collection.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ BEFORE DECIDING TO BID
I pack my records very well with plenty of card support to avoid damage. I cannot take responsibility for any non-insured items that may be unfortunate to go missing or get damaged in the post. I keep all Post Office Payment Recipes as proof of postage. I always print my name and address on the back of all parcels i send, so the chances of a item going missing are pretty much nil. The recorded post option is always there, it may cost a few extra pounds for international buyers, but it is definitely worth it for the extra piece of mind. So, if for some reason a non-insured parcel does not arrive, then i'm afraid that i cannot be held responsible for loss or damage. If you do not agree to this then please do not bid. Thank you.
