"Pop corn à Kinshasa" is a jaw dropping mellow boogaloo funk/jerk that sounds like nothing else, record features other unusual tracks/rhythms played by this PanAfrican backing group, such as the pachanga influenced afrolatin "Amie ya suka", the biguine "Ma cousine Bernadette", a laid back headnodding track, as well as more conventional Congolese rumba tracks.
