Description
Artist: Boomtown Rats Title: Boomtown Rats Label: Ensign Release Years: 1977 Country : UK Cat No: ENVY 1
When Punk exploded in the UK in 1977 `Looking After Number one` from the Boomtown Rats was a leading contender for an anthem, followed quickly by this album which also contains an alternative version of Mary of the 4th Form, it comes with it`s original lyric/photo inner
VINYL (EX+) under bright halogen lights I can only see the lightest of sleeve removal scuffs, no feelable scratches, no sticks or jumps, plays through great!
Inserts: comes with original Lyric/Picture inner sleeve, no knifing, some age spots
SLEEVE: (EX+) Original `Robert Stace` single sleeve with only minimal wear clear strong spine (Please see photos for complete overview)
LABELS : Clean Green Ensign Labels with a few visible spindle traces - not overplayed
I am in the process of selling lots of obscure Records & CD`s, why not check them out!
I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & record removed from album cover
I use lots of photos to show as accurately as possible what you are getting (also I dont cut the corners of the record sleeve off the picture!!)
Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Near Mint, EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
