This auction is for a bootleg LP by the Beatles titled 'Peace of Mind.' The date 1967 is written by one of the song titles, but I don't know if that's the year the record was released or not. The printing process of the cover is cyanotype, which is an old process that isn't used much any more. Cyanotype is always blue and white, and it was more apt to be used in the 60's than any time since. The song selections are unusual, with "Lend Me Your Comb,' a hit by Ed Kookie Byrnes in the early 60's, included with early Beatles songs, the Ed Sullivan show cuts, and some old rockers like 'Kansas City.' The cover is only in Fair condition, because it is ripped in half at the seam. There are notations by the song titles on front, and the light blue picture on the back is very light, maybe faded, and hard to see. The disc grades as VG+ visually, and it plays fine, I think, but the recording quality is poor, so the record doesn't sound that great. There are cuts from the Ed Sullivan show, and the notations say some of the other cuts are from radio Luxembourg and other sources. The volume level is low and some of the songs are hard to hear. The labels are in good condition, but they appear to be hand painted. I would grade the playing of the record as VG at best, but it's because of the quality of the recording, not the disc itself. The recordings are low volume and poorly done, but it's an interesting LP nonetheless. I have other collectible records listed in my other auctions.
