This is the original 1972 Canadian issue on Audat 477-9025
Borealis recorded the album ‘Sons of the Sea’ at MUN Radio in St’ John’s, Newfoundland. It was the first rock album to be recorded in the Atlantic Provinces and the first all-original material by any Newfoundland group. There were likely only 500 copies of this album pressed.
The album features some great keyboards and great guitar riffs throughout, with hints of fuzz guitar, psych and garage – all in all an outstanding listen start to finish.

Cover is VG because of the 2 names written on the top left corner and 2 inch middle seam split in the bottom.
Visually vinyl is NEAR MINT . HOWEVER , there is a manufacturing defect on Side 2 that produces 37 ticks at the beginning of the song. The rest of Side 1 is excellent and very quiet On Side 2 there is a slight warp at the beginning of the record ( does not skip) and manufacturing defect that produces 7 ticks . The rest is very quiet. Therefore consider the above when placing a bid.
