Description

Insane Japanese noise from the late 1980s.  This band is like the Japanese version of Pussy Galore.  During the late 80s and early 90s, Japan was pumping out the most incredible bands.  Everything from Shonen Knife to Guitar Wolf to Teengenerate, it seemed as though Japan was poised to take over the international underground punk airwaves.  The Boredoms were no exception.  Led by manic Yamatsuka Eye, they have taken crazed noise to a new level.  The amazing thing, I saw this band live in Chicago many years ago, and they hit every eek aak and snort exactly like the record!  It's amazing.  You wouldn't think at first listen that these are actually crafted tunes.  But, after a few spins, it becomes apparent.  This record smokes!
