BORKNAGAR - Quintessence LP (RED-SILVERVinyl,lim. 400 Copies) NEW, Viking/Black
Viking/Black Metal Release Date: 3 November 2019Limited Edition: 400 Copies
Special: 21,99 EUR inkl. MwSt. Artikelbeschreibung Weitere Hinweise
With ''Quintessence'' the 4th full lenght album from BORKNAGAR was imminent at the turn of the millennium. These were probably among the most creative Black Metal bands that Norway had to offer at the time. The fiver from Bergen manages to combine a nice mixture of anthemic Viking Metal and melodic Black Metal in the 10 tracks on ''Quintessence''. One of the highlights of the album is definitely the more variable vocals from I.C.S. Vortex, which the band boss uses so intensively for the first time. So BORKNAGAR can´t only convince with Black Metal, but also offer the listener now innovations in the 43 minutes that have less to do with Black Metal. With their melodic, partly hymn-like music, which is not afraid of some folklore elements or slightly spacey songs, BORKNAGAR know how to continuously develop their sound & for this reason alone, a damn varied album is created, with which there is no boredom. This 2019s re-edition appears as 180g red/silver swirl vinyl edition limited 400 copies with glossy jacket & lyric insert.
