A great-sounding, super-rare LP, with rare unreleased tracks

This LP is among the oldest and rarest of all the Boston Rare Titles out there!
”Boston Alive” is labeled '1978', but the actual year it was recorded was 1977.

Since this was recorded professionally, the sound quality is top notch.
The performance is intense as well, highlighted by an extended rockin' version of Smokin'.
Two rare and unreleased songs are represented on this LP.
With this rare pressing, we get "Foreplay" and "Something About You",
two songs missing from another Boston album, Band From The Platinum Basement.

As for the artwork, it's is as basic as it gets - a plain white cover with a hand-drawn Boston spaceship on the front cover.
Nothing spectacular here. There are several inserts with the LP including a letter blasting "corporate record companies"
