Description

This 1987 collection is the second edition of Alan Dell's magnum opus tribute to Nat King Cole's Capitol Records years. The first one had 18 albums. This one adds "The Piano Syle of Nat King Cole" and an album Dell produced titled "The Unreleased Nat King Cole," most featuring Nat 's work with Nelson Riddle.
Each of these 20 remastered LP albums is held in a high quality reproduction sleeve with added liner notes by Dell. Many appear never to have been played. Those that were, are in near mint condition. I sampled several to check the sound quality, and they've got it.
The list: L-O-V-E; Love Is the Thing; Two In Love; Unforgettable; Ramblin’ Rose; The Touch of Your Lips; Sings George Shearing; Ballads of the Day; After Midnight; Just One of Those Things; The Very Thought of You; Welcome to the Club; To Whom It May Concern; Tell Me All About Yourself; At the Sands; Let’s Face the Music; Where Did Everyone Go?; Those Lazy-Hazy-Crazy Days of Summer; The Piano Style of Nat King Cole; The Unreleased Nat King Cole (not a Capitol Years album, but produced by Alan Dell from recordings of that era).
Three of the jackets have glue loss at the top, allowing the sleeve to open. It is not torn, only unglued, an easy fix.
There are some minor scuffs to the box top.
