Description

THE BOXES "Full Of It" b/w "I Crave Excitement" 7", 1979 Rat Records USA. Condition is vg+/ex, crafty fold-over sleeve is bent at the opening-otherwise it couldn't have been opened, vinyl is very clean. hand written and stamped labels. Mysterious DIY Powerpop Punk that is probably from the Bay Area(?). the A-Side is a great Big Star styled Powerpop number, and "I Crave Excitement" is a slow Stooges inspired tune minus the distortion. It builds to this chaotic climax, then settles back down with the singer saying softly "That's enough excitement" at the end. Genius. Has anyone put this up at a blog? Shipping is $4.00 First Class Mail in The USA, $5.00 International First Class mail to Mexico and Canada, and $8.00 International First Class Mail for the rest of the world. I gladly combine shipping costs. Thanks and please check out my other items.
