Up for auction is a promo copy of BOZ SKAGGS first solo album.
this album was issued for radio stations who broadcast only in mono. This album was never offered for sale in mono as you can see that the label states stereo.
This album is somewhat rare Ive been looking at and collecting albums for 35+ years and never came across another. This one I obtained at the yard sale of a man that was a DJ at a radio station.
This record includes Duane Allman playing dobro and slide guitar.
among the female backups is Donna Thatcher who later married and became Donna Godcheiux the only ever female to be part of the Grateful Dead.
This record is in excellent condition and a pleasure to listen to. There is only 2 pops on the begining of the last track. it has very little play as I would listen to it on my stereo copy ,which is very easy to replace. the cover is a very vg+.
This is the album that includes Loan me a dime. it contains a lot of Duane Allmans guitar work on it. The whole album has one great song after another.
Boz went in another direction after this Album. He did some great songs after this and it would seem to be a good career choice. But his first is special and less commercial in direction.
