 BRAHMS VIOLIN CONCERTO IN D MAJOR. OISTRAKH / KLEMPERER

FORMAT............ RARE UK ORIGINAL VINYL LP . A FIRST PRESSING ON THE BLUE AND SILVER COLUMBIA LABEL   

MATRIX -2 AND -2.

SAX2411   MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN. 

 

 

The key features of this lp are summarised below:

    Sleeve-  Lovely with little in way of wear. Some brown spotting to unlaminated rear. Flipbacks are tight.General minor age wear but still clean and strong-in plastic sleeve. 

    Made by Ernest J Day. Overall- VERY nice and respectable for its age.

    Inner-The record comes in its original polylined inner.Several creases but still strong and clean.

    Labels- Clean showing only very minor spindle marks.

    Vinyl- STILL RETAINS SOME GLOSS TO BOTH SIDES. VERY nice looking vinyl.

    Under light it shows the odd hairline,scratch and mark-nothing serious.

    Playback- PLAYS WITHOUT SKIP OR JUMP.

    There are odd minor ticks,mainly at the starts, and a louder tick.However,the vast majority plays with a great sound.VERY enjoyable.

    A superb lp.Not to be missed.
