Inspired by the Egyptian Book of the Dead, Brainticket's Celestial Ocean tells the story of an ancient king traveling on a ship through the afterlife. Brainticket merges modern and ancient musical instruments throughout this album. Synthesizer sounds that could have come from a 20th century sci-fi movie (e.g., Logan's Run) are mixed with the acoustic sounds of the flute and zither. This sonic juxtaposition adds to the theme of the king traveling from the ancient world through time. The first two tracks, "Egyptian Kings" and "Jardins," are tied together with a common melody and are among the best tracks on Celestial Ocean. On these songs, Brainticket creates a musical landscape of synthesizer and reverbed flute. Joel Vandroogenbroeck delivers his lyrics in a near whisper, while Carole Muriel repeats his words. This call-and-response vocal delivery adds to the bizarre atmosphere created by the music. Celestial Ocean provides an interesting aural journey. Fans of Brainticket or the Krautrock genre will most likely find this album rewarding.

Payment: We expect payment within 7 days of auctions close. If you will not be able to make payment within this time frame, please do NOT bid. Sometimes exceptions can be made, providing you contact us prior to bidding. If you are waiting for an additional auction of ours to close, in order to combine shipping and payment, this is of course fine - we simply ask that you let us know that, ASAP.
In accordance with eBay's new policies, we can now only accept Paypal as a form of payment.
Shipping: We ship once a week - Friday morning. Paid items are packed Wednesday & Thursday. Therefore, we recommend prompt payment to insure same-week shipping and thus the fastest possible delivery. We schedule our auctions to close on Sundays and Mondays, in order to provide ample time for payment. Please be aware that items paid for AFTER Thursday morning will most likely ship the Friday of the following week.
All domestic and international shipping is done through the USPS, unless otherwise specified. GRR cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged by the USPS. Winning bidders are welcome to purchase insurance. Domestic Insurance (ie. - within the USA) rates are as follows, for more info check the USPS website.

We pack our items carefully. LP's are removed from jackets, packed in sturdy cardboard mailers specifically designed for LPs, and secured with bubble wrap and other insulation. Double-boxing is available upon request, though additional charges for materials and weight will apply.
We are happy to combine multiple items in a single shipment. Again, if you are a winning bidder, please let us know if your waiting for an additional auction to close before shipping. Additional shipping charges for LPs are $2 each/domestic or $3 each/international.
