Description

Artist: Brandywine Bridge

Title: The Grey Lady

Details: - Very Rare 1977 UK Pressing on the obscure `Cottage Label`, This is one of the hardest UK Folk Rarities to find, just never turns up for sale! Similar to Spriguns of Tolgus, dreamy celtic flavoured Acid Folk, private pressings were only ever produced in very limited numbers due to finance, there could be as few as just a couple of hundred of these around!!! Music is superb `Top Drawer` UK 70`s Folk!!!!

Catalogue No: COT.311

Country: UK

Year: 1977

Label: Cottage

Vinyl: (EX+/NM) `Thick Vinyl`, looks Mint, on closer inspection under halogen spotlights I can see one unfeelable hairline surface mark & one small feelable scratch (which sounds for a few clicks), no sticks or jumps, still Plays Great, Nice Copy

Sleeve: (NM) Lovely copy, Nice Clear Spine, No edge wear, Sharp opening, a very nice copy of this very rare sleeve (see photos)

Labels: Lovely Clean White Cottage Labels - Just a couple of visible spindle lines

Post/Packing: UK - £5.50, Europe - £7.50, World £9.50 (buy multiple items & postage per item becomes much cheaper)

I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & record removed from album cover

Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Near Mint,  EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
