Description
Soul R&B Funk single on Rare red Label MERCURY 73482 - Brenda Jones
VG+ vinyl. There are a 2 barely noticeable scuffs at about 7 and 9 o'clock position on the Big Mistake side (I tried to depict this in photo 5). Faint paper scrapes in dead wax at 11 o'clock position on "Super Stroke"(I tried depicting this in photos 2 and 6). Both sides play through unaffected by these.
Labels are VG+, legible, no-handwriting, no stickers, and only minor wear. Superstroke is strong and funky end to end. Soft lead in on "Big Mistake" does accentuate the pops at first (which I've read was an issue when this record was first printed) but very shortly gives rise to a strong quality sound & an amazing track.

Collectors often say the white promo version of this record is the elusive one, but try finding another clean red label with no handwriting no tears and in good condition like this one anywhere, and you'll soon begin to wonder if they might be wrong! SO Here you have it, a title that has exceeded $500 in recent auctions, up for auction with a very low start and no reserve!
