PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
INSANELY RARE 7" box set from 2003 put out by the always-reliable folks at Numero Group featuring 10 records in total, some with large center holes and some with small center holes in a variety of sleeves with the box rubber-stamped on the top and bottom and EXREMELY limited to just 75 copies worldwide!!! 45s are a beautiful near mint minus with the exception of the Sea and Cake/Califone split, which is VG++ with a few light scuffs. Box is in excellent condition with NO splits or seams and a small sticker residue on the top that may have been a Numero hype sticker. I bought this at Reckless Records here in Chicago and filed it away in my personal collection until today when I took these pics. Even has the original custom barcoded Reckless info label on the outer poly sleeve dated December, 2008 from when I purchased this rarity over 12 years ago(!) at their Wicker Park location. A VERY nice copy with airtight provenance that can be traced to the exact month and point of purchase. THIS is what collecting is about. Only one copy has surfaced since 2015 according to Popsike and it will most likely be a lot longer before another one comes up for sale so don't sleep. A massive current and guaranteed future collectable.
