THE BRIAN JONESTOWN MASSACRE-NOT IF YOU WERE THE LAST DANDY ON EARTH 12"

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING BID AS THER IS A FAULT WITH THIS PRESSING

I purchased this item new from a mailorder record company in '97.It arrived shrink wrapped & sealed,a few weeks passed before i got around to playing it,when i did,i discovered side 2 jumped a lot towards the end.I didn't bother sending it back because of the delay and the b/side was just some fella talking(this was my 1st BJM purchase and the content wasn't relevant to me)

I will try to give an accurate description as possible:

The cover is still in the original shrink wrap and remains in the same condition as i received it.It's been kept in a safe clean enviroment.

The a side is a short song and is a dig at the Dandy Warhols.This is unmarked and plays perfectly.

The b side plays at 33rpm and is about 25mins long(it would obviously be bit longer without the jumps).What we get is Anton Newcombe taking about how he first he met the Dandy's and how he tried to help them.He also talks about dealing with record companies.Whilst talking he is playing records or tapes in the background.To look at the playing surface you wouldn't think there is anything wrong with it,it's totally clean from any scratches.Under closer inspection you can see that there is an anomally around the area that jumps a lot.I'm certainly no expert about the pressing of records but there must of been a fault with the pressure of the lathe.The 1st jump occurs at the 11minute mark,then again a minute later.At about 20minutes in it starts to jump regularly.

In a nutshell,an item in the same condition as new but FAULTY!!! If you click on the picture below this will lead you to link with more photo's of this item.
