On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Bridget St John called 'Songs For The Gentle Man' and is a UK 1971 1st pressing on the 1st Press Dandelion label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! IT IS ONE OF THE RAREST EVER BRIDGET ST JOHN LPS AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!! THIS IS THE 1971 UK DANDELION 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS DANDELION LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' GARROD & LOFTHOUSE 'PATENTS PENDING' GATEFOLD COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition with NO wear, NO writing and NO spindle marks!!!!Visually it has the lightest of marks consistant with been lightly played (albeit with care) and moving in and out of the sleeve and that's viewed under bright light (100 watt bulb)!!!!
The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! Visually it has the lightest of marks consistant with moving in and out of the sleeve and that's viewed under bright light (100 watt bulb)!!!! The record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO crackle AT ALL!!!The sound quality is simply SUPERB and CLEAR with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must play grade FULL EXCELLENT + !!!!
The 1st Press Gatefold 'Textured' Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has barely ANY edge wear AT ALL, barely ANY spinal wear AT ALL, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), NO ringwear, only very VERY slight rubbing in places (absolutely MILES better than most), and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, NO rubbing and NO yellowing!!!! This cover must grade FULL EXCELLENT if not better!!!!
