Description
Original 1968 Canada stereo press of LP on Saravah / Riviera label
issued in France on Saravah label as a gatefold release with black vinyl with flame-like red, blue and green coloured spots
issued in Canada with regular cover & regular black vinyl
BRIGITTE FONTAINE titled " BRIGITTE FONTAINE EST.......?"
1st press Canada distinguished by "SARAVAH" cover logo is inside of a rectangle with rounded corners together with a black, red and green ethnic pattern
( and the sentence : "Il y a des annees ou l'on a envie de ne rien faire".) This logo ethnic pattern is just black & red on 1971 repress
CONDITION:
cover: VG+
lite shelf wear/ soiling ~ some wear/fray to edges & corners ~ seam split at center spine
small nick to bottom edge
vinyl: VG+
clean & glossy ~ just a couple of tiny minor faint marks ~ all superficial ~ Side 1 has 2 or 3 tiny microscopic grit marks
on a couple of the tracks ~ do not affect play integrity, but make 4 or 5 very lite clicks over the 2 tracks ~
remainder plays excellent with several odd occasional quick lite clicks & just a touch of occasional
lite low level surface noise/ very soft crackle in several spots ~ all low level ~ noticeable mostly just on
intro & between tracks, but, in a couple quieter spots, too ~ low level ~ does not compete, but noticeable
