Hi..I have decided to sell some more of my record collection which I have accumulated over many years. I am not a trader or record shop and I am just recommencing selling on eBay. I am music fan who has collected vinyl records over many years and much to my 'other-half's' delight and, to my own disdain, over the coming days/weeks I will be offering rare, and much sought after vinyl records including Prog Rock, Blues, Folk, etc from collectible labels such as Pink Island, Blue Horizon, Deram/Decca, Atlantic plum, Vertigo swirl, etc etc..

The 45rpm single is in truly 'very good+' condition and is genuinely a reluctant sale.

This is a highly collectible and very rare 45rpm single vinyl (especially in this condition!) by the incomparable FREE and this is a great example of their first ever UK release on vinyl.

Record Grading:

Very Good+

Before I offer for sale I play grade to check my vinyl's and I have just played both sides on an upmarket deck.

There is truly only one way to describe the vinyl of this single - a high very good+. There are hairline marks on both sides of the single but these do not affect the overall sound quality of this single. There is some odd background and surface noise, but I think this is to be expected on such a rare piece of rock history and in my opinion only emphasises the authenticy of the record. What is amazing is the production on this single!

Remember the days when you used to call at at the record shop and buy that single record? When you got it home the sound was always so much louder than when you heard the same song on that forthcoming LP release (ah, thoise were the days!) Well, this is what we have here; superb quality and production values.The winning bidder will not only be thrilled but also amazed at the quality of the production of this ultra-rare vinyl single! Remember and please bear in mind that this original pressing is 42yrs old! There are absolutely no deep scratches, no 'sticking' and no 'jumps'. Both sides play extremely well, and for a such a fragile and rare single this is incredible!

I doubt if you will ever again find this vinyl in as remarkable condition! I am being genuine and highly critical, but honest in my evaluation of the single; You would be thinking I m doing myself an injustice with my description, but I treat others the way I wish to be treated myself therefore I am describing it to the best of my ability. 

*Also, I have not attempted to clean the vinyl in case of damage to the single and because in my opinion it is in such great condition that it doesn't require any object or cleaning agent applied, in fact the only implement this single requires is a stylus*

Labels:

Excellent+  ...Both labels are clean and bright! (see images).. Very few, but very light, spindle marks if slanted towards a strong light. No ink or tears and no unsightly blemishes. Even the centerpiece is original and undamaged! so, so rare!

Sleeve: 

Excellent  ... Original Pink Island factory sleeve (white outline on Pink background) .. Aged, but no rips or tears or any unsightly blemishes. No unwanted ink-marks.
