Description
Brownsville Station was formed in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1969. Original members included Cob Koda (guitarist / vocalist), Mike Lutz (guitarist / vocalist), T.J. Cronley (drummer) and Tony Driggins (bassist / vocalist). After several Top 10 hit singles like "Smokin' in the Boys Room", they recorded in 1977 "Martian Boogie", one of their seven singles to chart on the Hot 100 and "(Lady) Put the Light On". 7. "Brownsville Station" (also known as the "red album") on the Private Stock records label. This is the ORIGINAL US VINYL (WHITE LABEL PROMO) LP Pressing. Has "NOT FOR SALE" STICKER on front cover. The catalog # on the spine is: 06 PS 2026. The vinyl is visually graded by Goldmine standards as NEAR MINT. The cover is graded as EX overall. This Promo / Radio Station / DJ copy came from the original owners family member that was the GM at an "elevator music" station, so it is very doubtful that this was ever played. Record has been stored in a heavy duty anvil case since 2006. Record will be shipped following business day as soon as payment is received.
