Description

Original Buffalo Springfield member Bruce Palmer solo offering from 1971 The Cycle is Complete LP on the Verve Forcast label up for sale. Vinyl is strong. Jacket has some minor wear, and a bb hole in the upper right corner. LP has been play tested.  It is a percussive, organ tinged jam type record with some scat type vocals (by Rick James listed as Ricky Matthews) and some nice Oboe and flute fill-ins. Obviously, Bass guitar is in there too! This LP has been play tested, and hence that's where I get my grading from. As a 45+ year record collector, listener and seller, you develop skills which are not necessarily acknowledged with paper or certificates of any kind, but by grading fairly and with a keen ear, you tend to stay in business a lot longer if you are just plain straight-up in what you see and what you hear. Some of us can portray those senses into words, and that's an added plus! This is an original copy, and it is very interesting to say the least, but you won't find any hit songs on this one....pure musical indulgence is what it's all about! Long, songs with dynamic colors added make it a good listen, plus the history of who the players are and their fates contribute greatly to the story.
