MINT. (M)
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks.
The sleeve/ inners /poster etc are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT. (EX)
The record shows only a few signs of having been played, with little lessening in sound quality.
The sleeve may have minor wear.
VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+)
The record will show signs that it has been played.
The surface may show signs of wear, with slight scuffs or light scratches that do not affect play.
The sleeve may have some edge/corner wear/minor creasing or signs of age related discolouration.
VERY GOOD.(VG)
The record shows more pronounced signs of wear but will not detract from the music.
Scuffs, light scratches, groove wear may be more evident.
Surface noise may be evident in the intro/soft passages.
The sleeve will have no major defects, but may have more pronounced edge/corner wear, creasing or possible age related discolouration.
GOOD PLUS (G+).
The record will play through without skips, but may have more significant surface noise.
The record will have more noticeable groove wear, scuffs and scratches.
The sleeve will have more pronounced scuffing, worn edges, creasing, discolouration, possible spine splits etc.
