Description

This 5LP box set was released by Columbia in 1986 and is comprised of recordings drawn from live performances by the iconic band via varied tour venues visited during the decade of the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s. The collection showcases the contagious energy of Springsteen's shows by way of classic tunes ranging from "Thunder Road" and "Born to Run" to ''The River" and "Born in the USA".  The set truly offers an immersive live experience for fans and completists alike. This live compilation is indeed of the "pre-owned" variety but, because the records themselves have never actually been played, the vinyl itself certainly merits "Mint" status.  With that in mind, I am reluctant to remove the records themselves from their respective sleeves for snapshot purposes but will gladly provide upon request.  The outer box is solid and tight with well-defined corners and light edge rubs usual to age and storage.  Inlay and original sleeves are judged to be largely of "excellent" grade.  The companion, 30-page booklet of concert pictures and song lyrics, in pristine condition, is also included.
