SPRINGSTEEN PACK IRELAND  1983

This is the Springsteen pack which was issued exclusively to Ireland in 1983. Comprising four  45’s “The Promised Land”, “Born To Run”, “Hungry Heart” & The River housed in a clear plastic display with a cardboard banner.  The package was unique in that two of the singles; “Born To Run” & “The Promised Land” came in bespoke picture sleeves that remain exclusive to this release.

The overall standard of printing on both labels and sleeves was very poor, numerous  spelling mistakes on the labels  "Meeting Across The Water", "Head Up Without A Gun", "V. Landay", "Steve Van Landt", and inferior quality vinyl all resulted in the package being withdrawn. Originally  intended to be a limited run of just  500 it is thought that significantly less than this quantity  are actually in circulation.

CONDITION:  The complete package has remained boxed since It was acquired  18 years ago. The clear plastic display has a minor manufacturing flaw where the cardboard banner is located and there are three tiny pin holes (presumably made by the retailer displaying it in his shop prior to purchase) the display overall though is still shiny and in lovely condition. The cardboard banner  is totally intact and unmarked. Each of the picture sleeves are also in lovely condition, the records having been removed, sleeved and stored separately. When I acquired the item the records were described as un-played. There are no spindle marks and all the vinyl is shiny and unmarked leading me to agree with this assessment.

Unless you request otherwise, all items are dispatched via Royal Mail standard delivery  with proof of postage.  Items will be mailed within two working days of cleared payment.

I will consolidate postage where two or more items are involved.  If you are bidding on more than one item please contact me after you have won the first and then again when you have won your last item, I will then send you an  invoice which  will include combined postage costs.
