In t he next few weeks I’ll put on auction more than 500 great and rare records. Most records are true collector’s items. Have a look, it is worthwhile! Most of my vinyl comes from my own collection and is in great, collectible condition. If not, I’ll clearly describe the possible flaws or scuffs. Appr. 90% of my records are EX to Mint-. This collection contains many rare German and essential Kraut, Dutch psych and garage, UK and US progressive and folk, early electronic and psychedelic records from the period 1967 to 1975. Extra info: MONSTER U.K underground BLUES record !! MEGA RARE U.K 1st pressing on the SAGA label. Rare U.K blues record from the so interesting U.K underground blues best 1968 year. This record is Fleetwood Mac and Savoy Brown related since Bob Brunning played on the 1st Fleetwood Mac record. Your chance to listen to it in TOP audio !! Very hard to get nowadays !! When Peter Green left the Bluesbreakers in 1967, he decided to form his own group, naming it Fleetwood Mac after the rhythm section he wanted for the band - Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. Fleetwood joined up straight away, and slide guitar player Jeremy Spencer was recruited, but McVie preferred to stay with the Bluesbreakers, where he was earning a regular wage. In the meantime, Green hired Bob Brunning on a temporary basis, hoping that McVie would change his mind.
After a few weeks McVie did change his mind, claiming that Bluesbreakers leader John Mayall was turning too far in the direction of jazz for his liking. So McVie was in, and Brunning stood down. Brunning did contribute bass to one track on Fleetwood Mac's debut album Fleetwood Mac, that song being "Long Grey Mare". After his stint in Fleetwood Mac, he joined Savoy Brown before embarking on a career in teaching which lasted 30 years. He did not abandon music however, and played in the Brunning Sunflower Blues Band, Tramp, and also the DeLuxe Blues Band, with whom he still plays today.
