Description

This is an ORIGINAL 1958 U.S. COLUMBIA MASTERWORKS 6-EYE STEREO 7 LP BOX SET WITH BONUS PROMO MONO REHEARSAL LP, 16" x 24" POSTER, AND 48 PAGE 'BEETHOVEN READER' ILLUSTRATED BOOK containing performances of Beethoven's Nine Symphonies by The Columbia Symphony Orchestra, Bruno Walter conducting.  It is Columbia Masterworks Records catalog number D7S 610, with '6-eye' late 1950s Columbia Records labels.


One of the seven Beethoven Symphonies records is STILL SEALED in its soft clear poly inner bag and has never been opened.  Condition of four of the other six Beethoven Symphonies records is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks, condition of the other two Beethoven Symphonies records is EX with each record having one very light surface mark which cannot be felt and will not affect play.  Condition of the mono promo rehearsals record is VG+ with a very few surface marks which cannot be felt and will not affect play.  Condition of the soft cardboard cover of the rehearsals record is VG+ with some wear and some slight wrinkles.  Condition of the 'Beethoven Reader' 48 page book is EX with the slightest signs of use.  Condition of the 16" x 24" Bruno Walter poster is VG+ with some slight wrinkles, no other real flaws.  Condition of the outer book format dos is a high VG+ with the top side of the inner box being very slightly bowed outward and some contact wear and one very light mark in blue ballpoint along the white vinyl spine area of the box; gold leaf print along the spine is bright and not at all faded or worn.
