This is an original 1965 U.S. Peacock Records PROMO 45 RPM record containing the 'Northern Soul' tunes titled 'Mr. Soul'/'Let Me Love You' from Bud Harper. It is Peacock Records catalog number 1939. 'Mr. Soul' is a nice mid-tempo dancer with a hard bouncy shuffling beat and fat horns, 'Let Me Love You' is a smooth midtempo dancer. Condition of this record is a mid to high VG+ with all original gloss and a small amount of surface marks which cannot be felt and will not affect play. Both labels have some contact wear as can be seen in my accompanying image, no other real flaws. This rare 45 would be a choice addition to any 'Northern Soul' 45 record collection!
