This is the "RVG" etched, Deep Groove, P-pressing of BUD POWELL’s "The Amazing Bud Powell, Vol 1” on the "47 West 63rd NY 23” labels of Blue Note BLP 1503. Musicians include Fats Navarro, Sonny Rollins, Bud Powell, Tommy Potter, Roy Haynes.
VINYL plays very well, 90% clean, with pops or ticks. Ensemble sections are very dynamic, punchy and clear. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Weak gloss. Clean surface with a few hairline marks, none feelable. The Deep Groove "47 West 63rd” NY 23” labels are generally clean with spindle marks, some wear. See photos.
COVER is taped end to end, scratches on cover. “BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 767 Lexington Ave., New York 21” back jacket is clean with all around tape. Please see photos.
