Up for auction is a very nice and rare Buddy Holly EP on the Decca label. The title is "That'll be the Day" and the number is ED-2575 and is his only Decca EP.
I am not an expert or collector of old records. This item was estate acquired.
I won't attempt to grade the condition as I am not an expert. I have taken many pictures so you can judge the condition.
The songs are: That'll Be the Day / Your Are My One Desire / Blue Days-Black Nights / Ting-A-Ling
The jacket is nice and has great color. There is a split that is about 1/2" long on the bottom right. (Please see photo). There are some light stains on the reverse side.
The record is a little dirty but I did not want to attempt to clean it. I will leave that to the experts. There are a few light scratches but no deep ones. I attempted to get a picture of the scratches by holding the records at an angle. The labels are in good condition. No writing or stickers. Unfortunately I was unable to play this record because I don't have a record player.
