BUDDY HOLLY - (Recorded) "LIVE" VOLUME 1 Collectors Series - RARE Vinyl LP in Card Sleeve. Signed on the front cover by Jerry Allison and Joe B Mauldin and one other signature that I am not sure of. Signed on the back cover by Sonny Curtis
I have just bought a fairly large collection of rock n roll records (particularly The Everly Brothers and Buddy Holly and The Crickets) from the widow of a huge rock n roll fan. In the collection are many signed sleeves. The former owner of these records even travelled to the USA to meet his heroes. He has seen rock n roll stars like The Crickets play many times and became a familiar face to them and they signed a lot of his memorabilia collection including guitars (which I don't have so please don't ask!). Apparently he often used to go to dinner with Hank Marvin when Hank was touring and he saw many old rock n roll stars (like Jerry Lee Lewis) play in little venues in Bristol and Newport (South Wales). I am relating this information as a way of validating the signatures. I do not have a certificate of authenticity but having acquired the collection and spoken to the widow I am in no doubt that the signatures are genuine.Very Good PLUS Condition.

GRADINGS
When grading records and CD’s I follow the standard UK grading system as defined by Record Collector Magazine. This is the most widely used guide and respected by Collectors Worldwide.
MINT (M) – Record is in brand new condition. The cover and all extra items are present and in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX) – The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG) – The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items (without any major defects) is acceptable.
I always grade honestly and accurately and unless a record is extremely rare I never sell anything with a grading below VG-

I mail everything using the best quality (music industry standard) packaging materials. This means sturdy cardboard record mailers with added cardboard stiffeners for LP’s and 7” singles. For CD’s I use tough jiffy bags and I add card protectors to any CD’s that have card sleeves.
