BUDDY HOLLY – THE COMPLETE BUDDY HOLLY – MCA/CORAL CDSP 807.

On offer is a 6LP box set – THE COMPLETE BUDDY HOLLY. The box set was manufactured in the UK in the late 1970’s. It comes with a 64 page scrap book which is a pictorial account of Holly’s life and music. Each of the LP’s is housed in its own picture sleeve. Each LP has a particular theme.

The records are in VG++ condition. Four have some small light marks. One has a patch with some fine hairlines and one has a light scratch on one side. All the records play EX to EX+. Any defects don’t affect playing or listening enjoyment. Five of the covers are in EX condition. Nice. One is a touch under with a small crease in the bottom corner. The Scrapbook has some light foxing/aging in one section of the front cover and a small dog ear on the first couple of pages. Otherwise it is in EX condition. The box is in VG Minus condition. Two of the corners are split and the paper covering has a couple of splits on the edges. There is storage wear and three or four small stains + a couple of other marks. There are some age marks on the inside.

The box is the weakest part of this set but it is well worth having. As an item it is getting harder to find.
