Strictly Graded Visually and Audibly.


Recorded in 1956 but not released until April 1958 this LP captures the raw, early rockabilly vocals of Buddy Holly with accompaniment from the Three Tunes (prior to Holly’s association with the Crickets).

                        Contains the original (alternate) version of the title track (not the Crickets version).

 

CONDITION   Visually the vinyl is VG- with visible handling marks and light scratches.

                        Played cleanly with good fidelity; no skips or jumps. 

                        Some audio interference which does not interfere with the listening enjoyment of the music.

                        An occasional “pop” but none of the scratches are audible for more than 3 revolutions.

                        The cover is VG+ with some very minor wear.

                        Small 3 inch seam split top seam; nice clean spine.

                        Residuals of stickers on label and back cover (see pix).
