TITLE/ARTIST: Welcome to rogersrecords---your Ebay site for rare and great condition 1950's-60's LP's and 45's. This very rare and highly collectible ORIGINAL Buddy Holly LP is on the maroon colored, Coral Label and is entitled simply "Buddy Holly" from 1958. This album is the 1st release for Buddy on the Coral Label, and sports a great cover photo of Holly himself (minus his trademark glasses). The album comes with 12 of the Buddy's greatest early recordings---including "Peggy Sue", "Rave On", and "Everyday". In my opinion, everything about this ultra rare LP is in excellent overall shape---although not quite not perfect either. Please view the pics below, read about the LP's condition, and judge everything for yourself. LABEL INFO: As mentioned above it is on the original, maroon with silver print, Coral Label, CRL-57210, is in original MONO, and in my opinion, is in just beautiful shape. I don't even see all that many spindle lines around the center hole, though there are some. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is just about perfect, with nothing very negative to report, although there are some light surface lines on either side----and I do mean light. Otherwise, it really is very shiny, clean and nice. JACKET INFO: This jacket is also in super shape, with no serious flaws to report at all. It really does appear to be practically as nice as the day it was first purchased almost 50 years ago. In my opinion, everything about this piece is really quite nice, espiecally when you factor in how old, rare, and highly collectible this piece is. But, please view the pictures below and judge everything for yourself--or write me if you need more info. INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see these original Buddy Holly LPs out there very much anymore, espiecally in this kind of outstanding condition, so please have at it. I am even listing three (3) other Buddy Holly LPs, so please check them out as well. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so---other LP's and EP's by Elvis, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and many other 50-60's artists----even some rare C&W EPs/LPs, plus much more. I am slowly selling off my very treasured personal collection, and there are many LPs, EPs and 45's to get to yet. Many of these still to be listed LPs and EPs are quite rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in great shape (in fact, most are near mint).
