Description
BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD
1967 uk mono Plum Atlantic (587070) 1st press. A1-B1?, crossed out corrected codes In run-offs. Rare original early 1st uk pressing with front laminated 'E Jay. Day sleeve'. All pictures are of the actual Item for sale. Please check out my other items!!
The front laminated 'Ernest Jay. Day' single sleeve Is In very good+ condition. The front lamination Is still nice and glossy with just a few light creases/shifts. The matt back Is In nice shape, It's pretty clean with minimal ageing and wear. There Is a name written In blue biro at the top, but apart from this the back really Is In nice condition. The top and bottom edges are excellent and free of wear, and the narrow spine has some storage/shelf wear. This sleeve Is still In really great shape with no major defects.
The 1st press plum/red Atlantic labels are In superb clean condition with no defects at all. The original Polydor poly-lined Inner sleeve Is In good condition. It has quite a bit of creasing and some ageing due to years of storage.
The vinyl still has a nice sheen with just a few scuffs and some light hairlines on side one, and just a few other light signs of play/hairlines on side two, this album has no nasty really deep marks or scratches and so both sides still play and sound very good with nothing more than some occasional light background crackle and the odd light click/pop, tics are repeated during the small scuffs on side one, but these really are only very light. The sound quality Is still good throughout. So still a pretty decent copy of this now hard to find 1967 'Buffalo Springfield' debut album.
I will only post this Item by recorded delivery. The vinyl will be taken out of the picture sleeve and then placed Inside a plain white cover, this will avoid the original cover picking up seem splits during transit. Then the vinyl and sleeve will be very well packed and sent same or next day, depending on when the payment clears. Recorded P&P/Shipping prices are as follows....
