Description
BUFFALO SPRINGFIELD - ATCO 33-200
ORIGINAL MONO '66 FIRST PRESSING
BABY DON'T SCOLD ME!
This auction is for Buffalo Springfield - ATCO 33-200 MONO. This is the original '66 pressing with the track "Baby Don't Scold Me," later omitted and replaced by the '67 hit "For What It's Worth." Very rare as a MONO first pressing that pre-dates the hit. CONDITION: COVER: VG+, has general wear and some seam wear. Correct mono cover clearly lists "Baby Don't Scold Me" but no "For What It's Worth." Back cover has a "C" stamped in lower right corner (see photo). This was a common practice in the 60s done by 'remainder houses' to code and repackage unsold product. DISC: VG, disc retains much gloss/shine, but has many light scuffs and marks from being stored in cover without inner sleeve. Plays strong without skips or other problems and sounds great in mono. LABELS: M-, nice and clean. Side 2 label lists "Baby Don't Scold Me." We tossed in an ATCO sleeve that is correct for the era. to complete the set.
Bid with confidence as I have graded and sold records for 25 years. I am also very careful when packaging records so they will not be damaged during transit.
