Description

Up for auction is a nice early original pressing of the debut self-titled Buffalo Springfield album, originally released in the U.S. on ATCO Records (33-200) in 1966:
-Guaranteed early pressing, not reissue -Original blue & tan ATCO labels -Mono pressing -MO suffix labels for Monarch pressing -Original paste-down cover -Original and correct ATCO inner sleeve -1966 date on back cover -Matrix: C-12517-AA (MR) LW ?10276 AT W
Note: This is the first corrected pressing with "For What It's Worth" included on Side One.
Condition: Cover is in nice shape, presents nicely, colorful and clean.  Some light rubbing top and bottom middle on front and back.  Seams are nice, no splits or cracking.  Corners are nice.  Spine is nice, titles are bold and legible.  Nice original! Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+)
Vinyl is also nice, still has much of its original shine.  Under a strong light, shows some faint superficial hairlines and faint scuffs, but nothing deep, nothing that can be felt, and nothing that should cause any problems with the audio quality.  Labels are clean, no writing.  Looks like this record has been played a few times but not mishandled.
Spot-Tested: I've spot tested this record, and when played in the recommended Mono Mode, the sound quality is very nice.  There's some light pressing noise on the run-in grooves, but once the music kicks in, it's not really noticeable.  Generally clear full-bodied mono fidelity. Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+)
