Description

This is the much sought-after rare recalled first press of the debut Buffalo Springfield LP. This LP is desired by collector's for the following reasons:

  • This is the original recalled press, with the track "Baby Don't Scold Me".  This original first press was recalled when the single "For What It's Worth" became a hit, and this track was replaced, no longer included on any other version of the LP
  • This is the original mono mix, preferred by Neil Young and Stephen Stills
  • This is the first press A/A deadwax
The jacket is really nice - most folks would probably grade as VG+, but I have to give it a VG just due to some wear and aging yellowing.  The vinyl however is very close to VG+ - really nice, and when played on my turntable with a mono switch, sounds great. The LP is housed in an MFSL sleeve. Sorry, no buyers in Texas allowed - any buyers purchasing with a Texas address will have their payment refunded. Check out my other auctions for more rare items.
