BUTCH HANCOCK THE WINDS DOMINION OK, I want to hit you with this idea before you make any judgements. As you can see from the scan, the inside right sleeve has an amazing signature from our old friend Mr. G.N. "Butch" Hancock signed in London waaaay back in 1991. The jacket has ring wear on both the front and the back. The spine has a 2" split in the middle and a further inch gone at the bottom. There is a 3" split at the bottom of the second half of the jacket. So, all in all, we have a jacket that can be best described as VG+ at a push (with the wind behind it). The records however, are in EX condition. Now how many of you out there have a nasty scratch on one of your discs. Here lies an opportunity. You can replace your own vinyl for a better disc (Obviously), AND with this ropy old cover, frame the inside picture with Butch's signature and hang it on your wall. Heyyyy, lateral thinking dude!! I like your style. Jimmie Dale has also slapped his mark on the opposite side. Now If you can just get Joe to sign above Jimmie's, waddya got, come on now...Come on now, don't take too long thinkin', it's comin'... it's comin' Yeahhhhh" YOU GET THE FLATLANDERS. Now someone out there is going to say, Gosh, What a Spiffing idea. And how much my good man is this jolly jape going to set me back? £6 could seal it (That's just a little less than $10 for those of you still tryin' to figure out the previous paragraph). I have been buying on eBay now for many years and have over a thousand positive feedbacks. These are the first of very many items that i now want to sell. There is a reason why i have opened a new account with eBay to sell rather than use my existing account. I have in the last 6 months or so returned to my Christian belief. I want to follow what is scriptual in disposing of what, quite honestly, has been a bit of a millstone around my neck. I mean, i could go and buy something, play it once, log it, and that was the last i ever saw of it. So, this has handed me a golden opportunity to turn around this situation into something positive. I'm not going to 'Bible bash' or 'rant and rave', I simply want you to understand my reasoning. With this in mind, i will leave it up to you to look up 2 sets of verses, if you want to. Matthew chapter 6 verses 1-4 explains my anonymity whilst Matthew chapter 19 verses 16-21 gives my explanation for giving the lot to the Haiti Lemon Aid Appeal.
