LP surfaces are graded in EX condition--nice and shiny.  Sleeve is graded in VG+ condition due to a substantially cut corner (this is a cut-out or promo copy) and a bent corner.  Please see photos of actual item on offer!


BUY CONTORTIONS is a ZE Records (ZEA 33-002) 1979 LP 1st Pressing Cut-Out Radio Station Copy.  James Chance aka James White came to prominence on the NO WAVE album that featured other NYC avant garde acts Lydia Lunch & Teenage Jesus & The Jerks—highly experimental music.  With James Brown as a cornerstone the idiosyncratic CHANCE added new wave, no wave, free funk, and experimental elements to craft a unique style of his own.  Contains his most popular and most-recorded song Contort Yourself.  Features Adele Bertei (Peter Laughner collaborator) on organ.
